Why my iPad is not charging?
Response by TechGene
iPads not charging, or charge very slowly are most common problem for iPad users. Your iPad might have a dirty or damaged charging port.
1. First thing to check is the charging cable.
2. Carefully remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your iPad and also make sure the cable is plugged in firmly and fully into the iPad.
3. Charging devices via a computer is always slower than charging from a direct power source, so try to use direct power source.
4. If you get an alert saying your accessory isn't supported or isn't certified, then change the cable (use Apple certified cable).
5. Force-restart your iPad and then try charging it :
If your iPad has Face ID: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Top button until the iPad restarts.
If your iPad has a Home button: Press and hold both the Side (or Top) button and the Home button until you see the Apple logo.
6. Try to charge your iPad for longer to see if that make any difference.
