Hyperlink


A hyperlink is a word, phrase, whole line or image that can be clicked to jump or open a new document or a new section within the current document. In other words, hyperlink is a reference to data that the user can follow by clicking or tapping.

Real example of hyperlink : How to earn money from a website ? When you move the cursor over the link, the arrow should change to a small hand. When you click it, a new page or section in the current page will open.

Hyperlink types

  • Text hyperlink – Uses a word or phrase to take visitors to another page, file or document.
  • Image hyperlink – Uses an image to take visitors to another page, file or document.
  • Bookmark hyperlink – Uses text or an image to take visitors to another part of a web page.
