URL
URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator. A URL is nothing more than the address of a given unique resource on the Web. Is a URL the same as a domain name? the answer is no. A domain name is part of a URL, which stands for Uniform Resource Locator.
For example, URL = https://www.techqura.com/tech-dictionary/term.php and domain = www.techqura.com.
A URL incorporates the domain name, along with other detailed information, to create a complete address (or "web address") to direct a browser to a specific page online called a web page.
The URL also specifies how to retrieve that resource, also known as the "protocol", such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, etc.
